The way categories work now is a no-go for me.

I will try to explain with an example:
I buy from Farmaline.
They sell vitamins and also some products for my dogs (Vectra against ticks e.g.).
Because of this discussion in another thread: I entered an income of 10€ on payee Farmaline:
When I click on the arrow to the right I see: First of all this should not come in the category Income. This way every negative entry in a subcategory will create a new subcategory which will make an overview way to big
So : You create a category in Expense or Income.
When you book something in the Category that is an expense category it should be booked there even if it is a negative income.
I tried entering -10 as an expense but that opened the calculator.
When I am booking I see category supplies but that is a subcategory. One must absolutely see category and subcategory (but not expense/income) because the category you opt for is already in one of these). I may have subcategory supplies in all sorts of categories.
I will continue in next post
