Account list shows the balance of each account...
But this seems to be the balance at the last entry in each account - inclusive of future entries
Would be nice to have an option for balance shown to be either the above (as is) or balance on today/now

I guess with future entries you mean scheduled transactions.
I found it very confusing that these were showing in the balance.
Graham added an option for this:
In the scheduled transaction details there is an option: days in advance to register.
I changed that to 0 and now the transactions are not showing in the balance anymore

For my scheduled transactions, I generally have them enter my accounts 31 days early so I can see them on the account in advance
I also manually input known future 1 off type tran in the accounts so that is another scenario outside of scheduled trans
So I understand what you mean for scheduled accounts but I still see a see a use case where its valid to want to have future tran in the account and therfore want to see on the summary page the balance "Today" rather than end balance
