Regarding reports...

Im checking out using reports
In microsoft money I often use the cash flow report showing a visual of account balances with options like next 30 days/90 days/year + custom reports

I note that in maxim, future reports only show logged transactions in the account (beyond that the graph flatlines)

One thing I see which would help Maxim would be to also allow the report to include future scheduled transactions in the period against the shown accounts
For example if you had a report showing the next 3 months from today for 2 accounts, and you had a scheduled transaction of £10 every month in one of those accounts, the report would include and graph all the future occurances (including repeats) of that scheduled transaction in the report

Even better if you could add an option to graph not just the accounts but also a total of all in the report

I have to say, I've never really found these tools very useful, as all they seem to do is project forward your scheduled transactions, and in reality there are always other transactions in there, i.e. if you build up an excess in an account you'll tend to move it to savings, or vice-versa.

But I realise most personal finance software have them, so I suspect it's useful to a lot of people. And it's certainly something I would be able to add - extending the transactions out in reports and graphs.

I suppose what could be fun is some sort of AI enhancement - looking at spending trends and layering those on top.
