I’m a long term and happy user of MS Money 2005 (UK edition). However, I came across Maxim Money and decided to give it a try as it had the one important feature which its rivals lack – the ability to import from a .mny file. It reports that 65 accounts and 18,336 transactions were imported. This happened very swiftly – most impressive.
However, for some reason the import process has added a 0 or 1 to the start of the transaction reference field, e.g. “DD” becomes “1DD”, “100248” becomes “0 100248” and “2026/04” becomes “12026/04”.
