Online Pricing

Online Pricing is the next major enhancement I'm working on, so I thought I would give you a quick update on how this is going.

What I'm hoping to achieve here is to provide a selection of online pricing sources that you can select for security and FX rate pricing, and also the ability to add your own custom price sources for less well known or private pricing.

I have added my first price source, so More Money can now automatically download prices for Crypto holdings.

I plan to allow configuration so pricing can update multiple times per day, so the prices aren't just end of day prices. This will have to be used with caution however, as some sources may block access if too many attempts are download made.

I now also have connectivity to Polygon, which provides US security prices. They have a free service for individuals which allows 5 queries per minute, which should be fine for most users to obtain closing prices (unless you have a very large portfolio).

I want to add another source which can obtain UK/EU stock prices, and once I've done that I will put out a new release.

I have had 2 programs for this and they both stopped.
I would not spend time on this.

I think a lot of the problem is everyone is using Yahoo, which is an unsupported API. I am adding multiple datasources, so if Yahoo doesn't work, there will be alternatives. Polygon seems ok, but the free version is pretty restricted. But I'll see what else I can find.
