Re: Maxim Money Mobile

I did see the little sync icon at the top of the mobile app, implying it was syncing. But nothing updated on the Desktop. I tried syncing from both the phone and desktop and it didn't work. I just tried again on the desktop, exited the app, and reopened it, and it's still not there.

Should I delete ...

Re: Maxim Money Mobile

Yay! An app!!!

But I feel like I'm missing something, or I've done something wrong. I got everything to my phone (yay) via Dropbox, and entered a transaction on my phone. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get that transaction to reflect on my desktop? I tried syncing in both places, but ...

Re: Reconciliation?

I have added a new Reconcile feature in v1.12.1.0. Please see the details here and let me know what you think.

I guess I didn't set this to sent notifications when I got a response! I happened to notice the reconciliation feature when I logged in and was prompted to update and saw in the ...

Reconciliation?

What strategies have people used for account reconciliation? I was comfortable with MS Money's reconciliation, where it knows the last balance date and balance (or you enter it for a first-time reconciliation), and you enter the current balance date and balance, and then MS Money shows you all the ...

Re: Loan Payments/Scheduled Transactions

As an FYI, the weird issues happened with "Unassigned" amounts randomly appearing. First, when I deleted my original transaction, an extra $50 was deleted with it. Not sure why. But then I noticed an Unassigned row for a week later (10/14) and I have no idea how it got there. Deleted that and I was ...

Re: Loan Payments/Scheduled Transactions

I had some really weird things happen while trying to do this that I hope don't happen again, but I was *finally* able to manually create the split transaction AND create a scheduled transaction from that. Phew! Thank you for your patience. Have a good rest of your weekend.

Re: Loan Payments/Scheduled Transactions

Appreciate your quick responses.

But there's not a scheduled transaction for this. It's the one thing that didn't convert from MSMoney. I have 41 Scheduled Transactions in Maxim Money. I have 42 in MS Money. This car loan is the only actual loan (i.e with amortization) I have. Well, I have my ...

Re: Loan Payments/Scheduled Transactions

Totally understand about the loans and amortization. Like I said, I can work around that.

I don't see a way to create a scheduled transaction from an existing entry/group in an account. I can right-click the group "header" (which, again, won't change from [Multiple Payees/Accounts], but the ...

Loan Payments/Scheduled Transactions

Just recently converted from MS Money. I have a car loan on which I make monthly payments. My recurring transaction in MS Money figured the principal/interest split for me. If Maxim Money can't, I can work around it.

The converted transaction has the payee (my bank), and then a split transaction ...
