New Release - v1.6.0.0

As at 03/07/25, the latest version of Maxim Money is v1.6.0.0, and can be downloaded from here. This version brings the following changes:
Enhancements
Opening Banking readiness
The big feature I've been working on in this release is support for Open Banking. This allows Maxim Money to connect to over 5000 worldwide banks, downloading transactions and account data directly into the application quickly and conveniently, removing the need to manually export and import data.
It is currently in a test phase, and I will need to go through regulatory approval before this goes live. It will also be an optional feature which comes with a monthly fee (probably around £2-3), as offering this service comes with quite a hefty cost for me. As such, I will need to wait until I have sufficient demand before enabling this feature.
Institutions
I have added a new icon on the Static Data tab, for Institutions:
This is primarily used for the Open Banking connectivity. But it still allows you to assign accounts to an institution, and add notes (website address, contact details, online credentials etc)
Edit Transactions from Reports
You can now open transactions directly from within reports, by double-clicking on the transactions.
Void Transaction type
I have added a new transaction type of Void. This will retain information about the transaction in your register, but it will have no affect on the account balance, and is an alternative to deleting the transaction for a better audit.
Scheduled Transactions now support Groups
If you create a scheduled transaction from a group transaction, the group structure is retained. There is not yet a way to edit these, so if you need to make any changes you would need to delete and re-add the schedule.
Balance Chart performance improvement
The performance of stacked balance charts has been significantly improved, and can now handle cross-rates, improving the accuracy of the data.
