As at 16/12/24, the latest version of More Money is v1.4.1.0 and can be downloaded from here.

This version has a few new enhancements, plus some bug fixes. These are:

Password Protection & Encryption
MMY files can now be password protected, by selecting the new Password Protect option in the file menu. This will bring up the following dialog, where you can create a new password:

You will be asked to enter the password twice to ensure they match and there were no typos made. When a password is applied to the data file, the file will be encrypted using sophisticated 256-bit encryption, similar to that used by financial institutions, governments etc, which makes it virtually impossible to crack.

The password must be entered again to remove it from the file.

Please be very careful not to forget your password if you use this feature - it will not be possible to recover your data without it!

Sorted Category lists
Category lists are now sorted by Income/Expense, depending whether the transaction it applies to is a deposit or a payment.

More Money branding
The More Money branding in the About form now matches the new website.

Calculator button font size
The font for the calculator buttons has been increased, making the values easier to read.

Scheduled Transaction confirmation
A confirmation dialog appears when adding a scheduled transaction.

Bug Fixes
Fixed an error importing transactions.

I've updated this to version v1.4.1.1, with the following fixes: (usual link)

• Fixed error adding transactions to calendar
• Fixed error opening menu on transactions register
• Fixed error navigating to opposite transaction from transactions register
