Another couple of features I've been used to in Money are:

• the ability to set the default file to open. I've created a desktop shorthcut to my More Money file but it doesn't open that file, just opens More Money New Project, then I need to go to file open and open my file

• Setting different types of backups. I have Money set to create a back up to one location at every program close, then another backup every 14 days to a different drive

Default file to open : it worked but at the moment there is a bug. I have been told it will be fixed in the next update.
I have also asked for Backup at every closing o the program. It will come.

Yes, there's an option in Settings > Misc, to reload the last file used on start-up. This should work (the issue in the last release was just that the checkbox reset to off).

And yes, I definitely plan to add back-up options, so that will come soon.
