I see that the list of imported payees in MM shows many greyed-out entries – these represent items which have been deleted at some stage in MS Money (generally as a result of a name change or correction) and for which there is no longer a corresponding live transaction.
As these items no longer serve much, if any, purpose I wonder why it is necessary for them to come across. Is there any reason why their import should not be prevented if this is possible? While MM allows for these greyed items to be deleted it is a rather painstaking process to have to do this one by one.

Re: Imported List of Payees
I'll add this to my list.
It might also be nice to be able to filter the payee list by used/unused payees, then it would be trivial to select them all and delete.

Re: Imported List of Payees
I have a lot of payees "Transfer from deleted account". These were created after transferring from Microsoft Money.
A few are greyed out (why?) but most are not. I would very much like to get rid of those but I think it will be impossible

Re: Imported List of Payees
If you have payees marked "Transfer from deleted account", it means you deleted accounts that you have existing transfers to or from. The transaction can no longer be a transfer since there is nowhere to transfer the money to or from, so it has to change to a payee. That payee is given a default name to show where it came from.
If you prefer, you could select all these payees and merge them into a single payee, and rename it to your liking.
