Transaction status filter on the transaction list for an account

When looking at the list of transactions for a given account, I'd like to be able to filter by transaction status so that, for example, I can look at entries which have statuses other than reconciled or void.

Apologies in advance if this is already there and I'm too dense to have worked out how to use it!

Not sure if it useful for you,

I change the default column sort from date to status when I want to look at this.
It also works for sorting by other columns.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rob, but I've tried that and it doesn't really work for me.

Effectively what I'm after is the equivalent of the "unreconciled" transactions option from MS Money.

It's a great suggestion, and certainly something I should be able to implement pretty easily.

I could implement something similar to MS Money, which has a very restricted set of options, but perhaps is more intuitive:

Or I could make it a full filter feature, where you can filter any column by any value?

I'd prefer a full filter where I can select the statuses I want to be able to see but I'd also be happy with a direct recreation of the way the MS Money one works.

The MS Money filter affects the running balance shown after each transaction in that it only takes into account the displayed transactions. That's always seemed rather quirky, and possibly confusing, but I find it rather useful. Would your implementation replicate that too? I guess it could even be toggleable?

I'm not sure I'll change the running balance, as that just doesn't seem to make sense to me. However, you can select all the transactions once filtered and it will give you a total count and sum at the bottom of the main window which would give you the same value I believe.

As a former dev, I never really understood why MS did it that way but I found it surprisingly useful when reconciling credit card statements. #MrEdgeCase

v1.9.1 now has filters in the transaction register. Let me know what you think of the way this is implemented.
